Detroit Michigan is the site of the American auto maker. Otherwise known as the motor city this place has been struggling economically. Many people blame the leadership of corporate executives and politicians for the shape Michigan is in.

Because of the car industry tanking in Detroit there have been many layoffs of people in it's main industry. This has resulted in the nations largest unemployment rate of about 9%. Despite this great tradition remain in Michigan and people who live there.

I checked out the jobs with the CraigslistDetroit remaining in Detroit and found the number to be extremely low. It has between three thousand and four thousand jobs available. For a metro this big we would expect the number to be over twelve thousand. Homes are cheaper in Michigan but if you try to sell it will be very hard.
